December 2025 - IIWe hope you enjoyed the second song from our new album Love Madness Death. On January 19, 2026, you will finally be able to hear the complete work. But first, as promised, here are a few interesting details about the plot of Ragde Eop Edgar Allan Poe is now a poor student in Boston. The behavior of the students there displeases the professors and city fathers, which is why there is a judicial investigation. While a few fellow students are expelled from the university and even professors are convicted, Edgar manages to stay out of trouble, even though, in addition to alcohol and gambling, he also experiments with opium for the first time during this period, fleeing into the mountains in a daze. He processes his experiences and hallucinations in “A Tale of the Ragged Mountains.” This story also explains the peculiar but multi-layered title of the song. It is definitely worth reading this and other Poe stories again. So our tip for the quiet season is: search your bookshelves, and while you're at it, you can also listen to our two new singles. October 2025 - II - Happy Halloween!Thank you very much for your feedback, we were delighted to receive every single message and review. Next month we will have a new preview video for our new album Love Madness Death for you, and in December there will be another single, accompanied by a music video, of course. As you know, our albums always tell their own story. Of course, we don't want to give too much away just yet, so that you can enjoy the surprise in January. To give you a better idea, here are a few hints about Zartes Leiden: Edgar Allan Poe's earliest memories were tragic ones of how his mother died. Edgar later processed her death in “Metzengerstein,” but the passage was deleted in later editions. She left behind two orphans, Edgar and his sister Rosalie, who were placed with different foster families. Edgar's new foster mother Frances loved him and gave him moments of peace amid all the grief. This enabled Edgar to come to terms with his mother's death and later write a few lines about her grave. Over time, Frances became Edgar's true, beloved mother. Her husband, Edgar's stepfather John, paid for the funeral, but was not happy with him, which developed into mutual hatred over the years. We'll tell you how the story continues in our new album, Love Madness Death, starting on January 19, 2026. |
